Borkenes is the administrative centre of Kvæfjord Municipality in Troms county, Norway. The farming village is located on the island of Hinnøya, about 18 kilometres (11 mi) west of the city of Harstad. It is located along the Kvæfjorden, looking across the fjord at the island of Kvæøya.
