Churachandpur is a city in India with a population of about 47,774.
Churachandpur, locally known as Lamka is the second largest town in the Indian state of Manipur and the district headquarters of the Churachandpur district. The local people reject the name as a colonial imposition and prefer using the native name "Lamka".
