Manacapuru is a Brazilian municipality in the Manaus Metropolitan Region, in the state of Amazonas. It is the third most populous city in the state with 101,883 inhabitants, according to the 2022 Brazilian Census conducted by the IBGE. Situated on the banks of the Solimões River, 93 kilometers from Manaus by road, the main access to the city is via the Manoel Urbano Highway, where the Rio Negro Bridge is located, playing a crucial role in the integration and development of Greater Manaus.
